Abstractions (Work in Progress) - Runa

  1. Your second image is really beautiful and captivating, I could look at it all day. I love the angle that this photo was taken from. However, I think you should consider reducing the exposure of the third photo. It looks really bright which takes away from the abstraction.

  2. Hi Runa. I think image 1, 2, & 3 are really right for this assignment. They are clean and the subject matter is well organized. I enjoy the light and the angles you've selected and your processing is very nice. As Dana mentions you really do want to bring down the exposure in image 3 as it is much too bright and takes away. I would also encourage you replace image 4 & 5 with new images, based on the success of the other. Good Luck!

    1. Hi Runa, I agree with Andy. For the first image, try to rotate the first image a tiny bit so that the right corner lines are aligned. For the second image, increase the exposure a bit to help with the processing. Great job on these photos overall!

  3. Runa- I really enjoy all of these photos in B&W! The last photo could benefit from being cropped to make it a bit more abstract. I enjoy your use of light in the 1st and 3rd image... and appreciate the editing on image number 2... the dull grey of the sky makes it a bit eerie. Love it!
