  1. I love your first white and second black image. Both are wonderfully abstract and interesting, lets the viewer question what they're looking at and what they mean. Some of your others would be improved by either making them more abstract like these other two, or having a subject matter that responds to the color - why would a shoe be photographed in gray, a hair clip in white, etc

    1. Hi Ashlynn, I agree with Jackie on your 1st white image and the 1st black image. There are wonderfully captured. I think the gray image are not working with me and would urge you to find other image. Your 2nd image is also not working for me. Other than that, good job here on these series here and good luck!

  2. Amigo, your black images are dope they remind me of the photogram days, and the last grey one might be my favorite image of all its really dramatic and I like the mood that it creates. I also absolutely love the first image its so cool and I cant tell what it is but I think that its awesome and fulfills the assignment perfectly I would try to create something similar and replace the hair clip photo because the others are really well done but that one is so so, and doesn't look as professional. Otherwise I think you did really well with pretty abstract images and all of them look great so good job!

  3. Hey Ashlynn, I think that all your black and white images are done extremely well. They are very abstract and beautiful. I agree with Jackie and Ernie, I think that perhaps you could find a different subject to use for your grey images, a subject that corresponds better with the colour. Besides that, I think you did an amazing job. I can't wait to see what you show for your final exposures.

  4. Hi Ashlynn. I would keep your first White, Second Black and first Gray. I would replace the others mostly because of content and visual interest. I do like Jack's comments about the Black images looking like Photograms, so that might inspire you to think more along those lines when making new image for all the categories. Good Luck!
