I love your black and gray images. They are abstract and interesting and I'm intrigued to look at them and figure them out. You could work on white in finding that same balance you found in the earlier images, play with subject matter to look for more abstractions.
I love the use of the sheet or curtain for your first white photo, but I think you could adjust it a bit to create more of an abstraction--giving the photo an intriguing dreamy effect. Seeing the outline of the face and the hat takes away from it. Other than that, your images are great. I especially like the boldness of the darker ones...good job on editing there.
Hi Elliot, I completely agree with Emma about the 5th image. It has a lot of potential. Take it again with the intention of deconstructing the form of the face. Other than that, your other photos are on point with the assignment and the processing are all great. Good job and good luck!
Hey man, I think your black and grey images are perfect, I don't think they need any improvement. For me, you white images are also very good and abstract and I specifically like the 1st white image. However, I too feel like they're so much more you could with them. They both have a lot of potential. All the best, and I can't wait to see what you show for your final exposures.
Hi Elliot. I would drop images 1 & 6. Replace those with new works that have a stronger emotional connection and better visual qualities. While they work for the assignment, they also stand out as the weakest images in your collection. The comments above are solid and helpful as well. Good Luck!
