  1. Hey Matt! Very cool pictures, I love the first one and the last one. They are very aesthetic and have a nice sense of abstraction to them. Your second grey picture is great too. I would just tweak the third picture a little bit, the white on the left side feels a bit overpowering for a picture that's supposed to be grey. Overall great job!

  2. Hi Matt, I think you should perhaps turn up the highlight just a tiny bit on the 2nd black image. Bring out a bit of contrast on the last image just by a tiny bit to make it better. For the gray images, I am not quite feeling them and would replace them. I like the first image somewhat. I would either increase the highlight just to emphasize on the dots/stars or replace it all together.

  3. Hi Matt. I think image 5 could be really strong. The others are just off a bit. I know you created image 5 by cranking up the exposure, but that kind of processing doesn't work for all images. I'm not saying that's how you work all your images, but most of them feel pushed too hard in one direction or the other. I would encourage you to find subject matter that is fitting for that kind of processing. In other words start with a subject that is already very dark grey or almost black, or very light grey or almost white. With your grey images the sky in the first one is just too bright on the left and doesn't fit and the second image is too out of focus. I think you need to keep shooting and find a better way to satisfy the challenges. Don't shoot so late in the day where you have such extreme light, especially for the Grey images. Good Luck!
