EMMA PORTRAITS WIP

  1. Omg Emma, I love LOVE the 2nd image so much!!! Love the colors, emotion and presence of the Biggie Smalls poster! Great job on that! Love the 3rd image as well. Actually love images 2-5 images. Replace the image 6th. It isn't visually exciting as the rest. The first image could work here but the 2nd image has similar gesture/emotion so I'd probably replace it. Good job on these and keep it up. Good luck!

  2. I am in love with your third image, I really like how you used back lighting in that photo. I think the silhouette of the person is so beautiful! I also love the image of the puzzle on the table. I think that black and white works really well, but maybe consider intensifying the contrast so the puzzle pieces really pop against the table. However, your last photo needs a bit more work. I think the color makes the image look flat, so consider making it B&W. Also, consider what the subject of your photo is. As a viewer, I am not to sure if the subject is the chair itself or the items on the chair.

  3. Yo dude!!! Love these. I was scrolling through the home page and the first image caught my eye! I really like your self-portraits. ALOT! Beautiful stuff! Did you think about making the third shot in black and white? The silhouette is dope, and you could maybe enhance it in B&W? I like the first two a lot as well. The final 2 are definitely strong too! I like the last one, with the dog in the back. The lighting on the puzzle shot is really nice as well! Hope you are doing well!

  4. Hey Emma, I really love these images. Your self-portraits are very beautiful and captivating. Similarly to Elliot, I would also really like to see your third image in B/W. I also really like the details in your last image, it gives them an identity. Good luck and keep up the good work.

  5. Hi Emma. Images 2, 3 & 5 are your strongest works. I'm not sure how I feel about the green, so you might want to try that image in B&W. The image with you in front of the window is very elegant and adds a great deal of mystery to the image. Images 1, 4 & 6 do not work for me and you will want to replace those with new works. The idea of mystery or allowing the viewer to fill in the visual gaps is so important and you want to take that into consideration as you create new works. Good Luck! Andy
