Awesome pictures Jackie! I love your 1st picture, the idea of using aluminium foil looks great to me. Your self portraits are very nice too, they have a sense of abstraction to them. I'm not sure but you might want to change one of the last two pictures. They're great for the no-person portraits, but both of them are quite similar, so you could probably put in a different picture. Overall great job!
Hi Jackie, love the experimentation on here! Good job! For the 1st image, I was playing around with orientation and I preferred it in horizontal. Image 2 would be the only image I would maybe replace. Image 3, I would crop it in to get rid of the white wall at the right. It looks better with the hands coming into the frame without the inner elbow visible. I would then place the next image in a silvertone B&W. If you have an iPhone, you can check out what filter I am talking about by try to edit in the photos app. The other last 2 images could be better in B&W.
I really like all of your portraits! I'm a big fan of the colors in the glasses in your first two photos. I'm also like photos without people and how eclectic it is. The only thing would be to maybe change one of the last two pictures because they are both very similar to each other.
Hi Jackie. The first two are so weird! But in an interesting way. My suggestion would be to back up and show this person in a larger space while wearing this covering. For instance, what would it be like if they were cooking dinner or riding a bike or something very natural? The self-portraits are fine, but they are too similar, so be sure to have them look and feel completely different. The last two are ok, but I would continue shooting for that challenge to see what you can come up. In general I think the images need more processing and fine tuning. The last four are flat and have a weird color (white balance.) Good luck! Andy
