I find your first image really beautiful. I don't love the second (the chair) as much - while it's beautifully shot, I don't know what it's supposed to tell me about a person. I love the pictures of the girl and would like to see more out of the self-portrait, right now it doesn't tell me anything about you.
Hi Alex, I agree with Jackie. These images are very well composed and edited. I would definitely keep the 1st image. Although I love the chair shot, it does not really tell me about you. I would maybe group the images to show which ones are self portraits and other people as I am not exactly which one is you in the shot (I'm not in your class therefore I can't tell which one is you) Independently, these photos work well. I would say shoot more with the themes and sub themes in mind while also keeping this type of level of quality in mind. Great job overall. Definitely heading in the right direction. Good luck!
Hi! Your first and second images are stunning! Although we maybe aren't able to tell what the chair actually says about someone does not mean that it isn't a good representation of a person. Just because it isn't obvious to the viewer does not mean it isn't a good photo for this assignment. Maybe it is one of those images that really benefits from a small explanation written next to it you know? But anyways great work and strong editing!
Hi Alex. I think the first two are LOVELY, LOVELY images! I would like you to rework the others so they have a similar depth and feeling to them. They are just too plain and direct. Explore better use of the space, better light and more interesting camera angles. Good Luck! Andy
