Hi Mia! Your pictures are lovely, I particularly like your food pictures. You have brought out the colors very well in your 5th picture. The contrast and overall editing looks great in your last picture (even the picture in itself is a great idea for this assignment) I do think you can reduce the white balance a little in your first and second pictures because they seem a little too bright and white, and in your 4th picture you can maybe increase the blacks so the trees can get more visible and add to the content :)
I agree with Mia, Aditya. The 1st and 2nd image could benefit from reducing the highlight. I am a bit iffy about the last image and would prefer a different image like getting up-close to the sugar pouring or maybe even playing around with shutter speed to make it look like the sugar is pouring like a silky waterfall. Other than that, I love these images especially the 5th image. And also I think the 4th image is good as it is but do try reducing the highlight to see how it comes out. Good luck on this assignment! They are looking good!
Hi Mia. The 1st and 4th images are just lovely! They have wonderful structure and composition. The avocado is fun and I would encourage you to continue playing around with food and eating a meal with family members. While I love dogs and cats, the image you shared just isn't successful. Try to incorporate a doorway, better light and a sense of place. The coffee mug is also lacking. Better light and shooting from above would help. Best of Luck!
Hi Mia, I love the food shots a lot... You are giving me inspiration. The two window shots are very nice as well. I especially like the first one as you are able to frame the plant (?) with the window pane. I love the dog shot and I think the composition on that is really well done. I like how it is just the eyes and down... That is what I see when I wake up in the morning sometimes too!
