Hi, I love the first image however, the window in the background is bit too distracting (competing for viewers attention instead of the subject). Maybe reduce the highlight only on that particular window. You can do this in Lightroom. For the 2nd image, the light trails on the subject behind might be too distracting. I would retake it with just him instead. I love the 3rd image!, not so much about the 5th image. I would perhaps replace it with something more visually exciting. Process the 6th image to be fully neutral B&W. The last image has some potential here. I would go back and take the photo again, shooting through the cologne bottle. Overall, you're off to a good start. Good luck!
Hi Jack. Image 3, Image 3, Image 3! Simple, direct, appropriate and nice composition. While the others are nice, they just don't have the connection or the impact that image 3 has. I think you should rework the others and don't forget that challenge #3 requires that you don't actually have someone in the photos, but things that describe a possible person. Good Luck! Andy
Hi Jack! I really like your first picture, even though I obviously don't know the man on this picture, I think it does reflect the personality. As mentioned above - third picture is great, but maybe I would try to crop it a little bit, so that there isn't so much space above your head, not sure. Also I like the idea of shooting through a cologne bottle, I think you should experiment with it more and perhaps use it for a self portrait. Good luck!
