I LOVE the food posts, I couldn't even tell what type of food it was in the first image which was incredible. I love the texture it has, the lines, the way it captures light. That close-up abstraction is great, look for more of that in future images.
I too enjoy the food shots very much. I think a better or stronger sense of light would greatly improve the other and I would even consider photographing at night with artificial light. One thing that is also working for you is the simplicity of the images and the compositions. So continue to keep things simple. Best of Luck!
Hi Runa! The food shots are BEAUTIFUL! The texture and use of water really grabs my attention. I think that your third image could use some more contrast. I also really enjoy the energy and movement in your fourth image.
Hey Runa, I think that the lettuce is crazy cool and I would've never thought of it. It has a cool texture and organic lines that are contrasted well against the rest of the image which makes for an overall well coordinated photo. I think that the ones form the window frames could be a little more contrasty or vibrant in the blacks because otherwise they just looked a little grayed out.
