I'm a big fan of the colors displayed in your first photo as well as the use of reflection in your second and last photos. Overall your photos were beautifully shot and very captivating.
Hi Mia, you've got a good start here! I would say decrease the contrast on the 1st image to get more info out of it. The 2nd image is fine. The 4th image is great! I would definitely keep that. I am not exactly sure about the last 2 images. I would replace it or increase the highlight here. I would overall urge you to keep taking more photos. Good luck!
Hi Mia, I like your portraits! You took the people in the first four photos in a creative way. Especially, I like the makeup and the contrast between light and dark in the first photo. I also like what you took in the last two photos, but I felt that the last image was a little too dark. I think you can improve this by increasing the exposure or using more light when taking the photo.
Hi Mia. I think in general they are all dark. Not dark in feeling, but dark in processing. I also think you should step back a bit and show more space. The second self-portrait is strong, much stronger than the first. Don't forget about body language. When you crop in so tight, we cannot see the persons shoulders, hands, hips and how they are presenting themselves in general. Don't shoot so tight. I would also like to see the last two in color. Good luck! Andy
