Hi Jack, I love the 3rd, 4th, and 5th images. They are well processed and attention to details are very prevalent in them. I would switch out the last image for a different image. Maybe taking a photo of the side mirror up-close to get a scenery in the mirror. And for your self portraits, I would encourage you to keep the 1st image in neutral B&W at least. The warm B&W isn't working well for me. I am on the fence about the processing on the 2nd image but I kinda like it like that. Good job overall though!
Hi Jack. Images #3 & #5 are Great! I would encourage you to look at Lee Friedlander, as he has an entire series of photos where he was looking out of cars. Using the door window frame works better than the windshield at this point, but I wouldn't give up on the front and back windshield. You just need something interesting happening on the other side. The color in #3 reminds me of a faded color image from the 60's. I think image #1 & #2 are too similar, so you should replace image #1. The food images I'm not totally sure of, but I like where they could go. I like the idea of the skull and hunting, etc.....Now take that different approach and turn it into more visually interesting images. Best of Luck!
Yo Jack, I love the long exposures from the self portrait section. You, yourself, are staying in the same spot and the detail of your hands moving , as well as your face, make the shot really interesting to look at. I do think maybe you should try to do it in a different place or maybe not a long exposure, as they are both very similar, but nonetheless, great shots. I like the 3rd photo a lot... probably my favorite out of all the ones here. Keep killing it! Hope you are well.
Hey hooligan! I think you nailed the 3rd, 4th, and 5th images! I think that your first two images are dope and the concept is sick but it maybe doesn’t quite fit with the project. I also think that they could maybe benefit from being B&W. Anyways keep up the good work and I can’t wait to see what you come up with :)
Jack, looking at your 3rd and 5th images, I think that you nailed the idea of the challenges set upon for this assignment. I like the aesthetics of these images and your self-portraits are also pretty dope. Keep up the good work.
